Learning in a manual car teaches you the full set of driving skills: clutch control, precise gear selection and the judgement that comes from managing everything yourself. It takes a little longer to click for most learners — and once it does, you can drive almost anything on the road.

Our instructors teach manual lessons across Birmingham and Solihull, structuring each session around where you are right now. Your first hours focus on the basics; from there, lessons move onto the routes you are likely to drive on test day and every day after it.

Choose single hourly lessons to fit around work or study, or a block booking if you prefer a steady, planned run of sessions at a better per-hour rate.
